Professionals in the fields of Accounting and Tax manage the financial records and operations of an organization and most become certified as Certified Public Accountants or CPAs. All businesses and industries need accounting and tax assistance for internal and external reporting and follow organization, industry, and government regulations such as US GAAP or IRS Tax Codes. Typical roles are in the areas of Accounting, Audit, Assurance and Tax at a Public Accounting “Big 4” or mid-size firm, private corporation, nonprofit organization or government agency.
