Finance is the management of money (cashflow) and includes activities such as investing, borrowing, lending, underwriting, budgeting, saving, and forecasting. There are three main types of finance: personal, corporate, and public/government.
Finance professionals work closely with their clients (external and internal depending on the role) and provide recommendations based on analyses of financial and operating data of funds, corporates (both public and private) and individuals. Finance professionals analyze complex data and offer recommendations on business issues to clients.
