Staying Involved and Hiring Gabelli

Staying Involved and Hiring Gabelli

Alumni are encouraged to contact our office to HIRE Gabelli School of Business talent, and engage in other activities to support and connect with our students either on-campus, off-campus, and/or virtually. We also actively reach out to our alumni contacts to PARTICIPATE in career development programming as relevant opportunities arise. We invite you to stay involved by contacting us.

Alumni-Initiated Engagement: Hire Gabelli and More

  • Hire Graduate Gabelli

The Career Development Center welcomes inquiries from alumni at companies and organizations that seek to hire graduate business students, so please do not hesitate to contact the outreach and recruiting team if you are interested in recruiting from our MBA and/or specialty Masters business programs.

In addition to providing employers access to directly post internship and job opportunities via CareerPath, the graduate business careers portal, the CDC offers a wide range of other free services for employers. For full details, please visit the Employers section.

  • Hire Undergraduate Gabelli

Though the CDC specifically serves graduate business students and is not directly involved with recruiting undergraduate students, all Fordham alumni are encouraged to recruit from our undergraduate business bachelor of science programs.

The undergraduate careers portal is Handshake, and for more information, please contact the Gabelli School of Business Personal and Professional Development Center for undergraduate business programs.

  • Join the Gabelli School of Business Career Network (GCN)

This networking and advising group is comprised of alumni in business who are willing to share their professional knowledge and expertise with MBA students. For more information, please contact the outreach and recruiting team.

  • Host Students at Your Office

In collaboration with alumni, the CDC organizes student-group visits to alumni offices throughout the New York area. Corporate site visits allow alumni to give current students a firsthand view of their company’s operations, products, people, and culture.

  • Hold a Corporate Information Session

Alumni can hold information sessions to promote a company, share information about job or internship opportunities, and meet students who may be candidates for open positions.

CDC-Initiated Engagement: Graduate Business Career Development Programming

  • Participate in a Mock Interview Program

Participate in a mock interview program, which provides you with the opportunity to meet students and offer advice as they practice their interviewing skills in a friendly environment.

  • Serve as a Guest Speaker or Panelist

Serve as a guest speaker or panelist in events such as small-group conversations, panel discussions, fireside chats, workshops, and more.

  • Connect with Students

Connect with students by attending alumni-student networking events or coffee chats.

If you are interested in any of the above engagement options, reach out to the outreach and recruiting team and we will be in touch with you as opportunities arise that match your professional background and experience.

We encourage you to remain connected by contacting us and look forward to staying in touch with you.
